Bryce/Zion Elderhostel Excursion
March 12 – 19. 2006
Photos by: Aggi Konieczynski

These hikes were led by a National Park Service naturalist. His familiarity with the area, knowledge of the geology, and sense of humor enhanced our experience in this truly beautiful section of our country. A pursuit of happiness and adventure starts with your own attitude.

If you've ever thought, "Elderhostel – how tough can it be?" ask someone who participated in this trip. Even Jean Henry, perhaps the strongest hiker on the trip, was challenged at times. The trip gave us new meaning to the term "hiking on steep and sometimes uneven terrain". Elevation change and altitude are important considerations.
